Urban Synagogues
In 2006 at the young age of twenty five, fresh out of Art School, Peshi had her first solo show in Synagogue for the Arts in Tribeca, N.Y. The venue was a well respected Gallery whose shows were always listed in Gallery Guide, the city's primary art publication of what and when would be exhibiting. The show was named "Urban Synagogues" by the curator Maralyn Sontag who accepted almost thirty works of art into the showcase. The paintings and cahrcoal drawings were all of synagogues from around the globe. many of which Peshi had not visited but rather researched prior to painting them. The show was well attended and almost all the art sold out on opening night. It gave the artist great encouragement to proceed forward with her art career and exhibitions.
