Artist's Description

This painting portrays the day after Kristallnacht- also known as The Night of Broken Glass in Europe in 1939. the infamous night is known as the dawn of the Holocaust. This painting based off of a famous photograph, depicting men looking at the Jewish store fronts that were shattered by Nazis the previous night. This painting was selected to be a part of a juried art show (Jewish Art Salon + Beth Torah) many years ago and I’m very proud of it.
