During Covid when travel wasn’t allowed, I was watching an Instagram story of a woman who lives in Jerusalem. I noticed that she was in my favorite neighborhood in Jerusalem. She captured a brand new home on Yom Yerushalaim- a day that Israel celebrates Jerusalem. I asked her if I can have permission to take a screenshot of her story, and then paint the painting, she agreed. This painting came to be, and is loved by so many of my followers. I actually began exploring watercolors with this work.
